CNN report – How books change children’s lives
We are moving our Pajama Program Reading Center to a larger space in NYC for the children. We currently serve under 1,000 children per year in reading sessions at our current space which is 700 sq ft. We want to schedule closer to 3,000 children every year in a space that’s at least 1,500 sq ft. The wait list of children is growing!
Our new Reading Center will need bookshelves, cushions, pajama cubbies, coat storage, and more to make it cozy and inviting for the children.
