Our Founders

Genevieve Piturro, Founder/Executive Director

For many underprivileged children, nighttime often means a hard end to an equally hard day. Many go to bed wearing their street clothes…or wearing nothing at all. Following many years of volunteer work with Starlight Foundation, Genevieve founded Pajama Program in 2001 to help create a warm and nurturing environment for youngsters living under difficult circumstances.

Genevieve’s entrepreneurial spirit was fueled by her earlier company, Genevieve Unlimited, which she created in 1993 to service entertainment companies in their efforts to gain a competitive edge in the world of promotion. A Yonkers, New York native, Genevieve received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from New York City’s Fordham University. She resides in Irvington, N.Y. with her husband, Demo DiMartile.

Alice Quirk, Co-Founder

Alice set up shop 10 years ago as an interior designer and personal assistant for private clients in New York City. Her prior catering business in Connecticut laid the foundation – when she would enter beautiful homes and offer decorating suggestions, they were met by home owners who hired her also as their decorator.

What grew from her talent was the creation of women’s luxury accessories including elegant ladies hats and bridal accessories. Alice now lives and works in Florida where she continues to work with Genevieve to grow the charity in the Sunshine State.
