Carter’s Supports Pajama Program
Fall and winter can be beautiful times of the year filled with warmth and joy, but the children who need us most are still in need of warmth and comfort at bedtime.
October 1st marks the start of this particularly vulnerable time for our children – a time of year when temperatures begin to drop and the children we serve are even more at risk of feeling unloved and insecure. Many have been abused, abandoned and taken from their homes, resulting in inconsistent and unfamiliar daily lives. Often, these children have never received an unconditional gift, much less something new to call their very own. The seemingly simple gifts of new pajamas and new books can help our children feel validated and valued, building trust and creating a connection.
These magical gifts transform a child’s bedtime, leading to a good night of restful sleep, which can leave our children filled with hope for a good day. We need your help, especially at this time of year, to give the children we serve a comforting and loving bedtime and good night. After all, good nights are good days.
Make a donation to help us bring good nights for good days during this particularly vulnerable season to the children we serve.
As temperatures drop this November and December, Carter’s supports Pajama Program by hosting an in-store and online campaign encouraging its customers to donate new pajamas and funds to Pajama Program to help us support every child’s right to a good night.
