Chapter President, Emily Kane
The volunteers of the Idaho Chapter of Pajama Program collect new pajamas and books and get them to Idaho kids who are facing crisis or transition. Some of these kids find themselves in unfamiliar surroundings, some may have been removed from their home with only the clothes they are wearing, and some have never had separate garments for sleeping. Their evening does not always include the calming ritual of putting on pajamas and reading a book before bed. Wouldn’t it be great if it could?
Our Chapter distributes pajamas and books to kids in need through service organizations all over Idaho. This happens with the help of the individuals and communities throughout our State who are so generous in their donations, our wonderful partner businesses who host donation drop-off spots, and chapter’s volunteers who give so freely of their time, abilities, and hearts:Sandra Coronado, Carol Hodge, Frank Kalange, Kerrigan Kalange, and Emily Kane.Together, we get new pajamas and new books to Idaho kids in need.Volunteers are needed! To join the effort, please contact Idaho Chapter President Emily Kane.
