We convened the Good Night Advisory Council of experts in children’s sleep to advise Pajama Program as we grow our caregiver programming. We rely on the Council to help us develop strategies to have a sustainable impact on the children, families, communities, and systems we serve.
Council members are experts in the biology of sleep, socio-emotional health and development, health promotion and equity, public policy, and program design and implementation. They know about the importance of sleep for caregivers as well as children from infancy through adolescence. They conduct research and/or have a clinical practice to promote and better understand sleep. And they represent disciplines including medicine, population studies, neurology, public health, and psychology.
We recruited our first cohort of eight members in the fall of 2018. During their two year-term, members may share their expertise with us and our constituent audiences by contributing to this website, partnering with Pajama Program on grant proposals, and joining us as we promote and support comforting bedtime routines.
Pajama Program’s Young Professionals Board is a charismatic group of young professionals in their 20s and 30s committed to volunteering their time and abilities to raise vital funds for Pajama Program and raise awareness for its mission. Young Professional Board members also have the opportunity to further their personal and professional goals.
