Board Member Social Posts

For our Board members who are active on social media and frequently share information with their audiences this way, we would like to provide some posting ideas that you can incorporate throughout the year.

General

I’m happy to announce that I sit on the Board of Pajama Program, an organization that promotes equitable access to healthy sleep so all children can thrive. Sleep is fundamental to well-being, but children experiencing adversity are not getting the healthy sleep they need to learn, to grow, to thrive – and to fulfill their potential. Join me and learn more about how Pajama Program provides children with the tools they need to have Good Nights for Good Days: pajamaprogram.org #PajamaProgram

FEBRUARY: Black History Month

Representation matters! When children see themselves in the stories they read they feel empowered, they see new possibilities for their potential, and most importantly, they feel like their lives matter. I sit on the Board of Pajama Program and in honor of Black History Month we are working to increase African American representation in the children’s literature we distribute to the children we serve around the country. Join me and donate a storybook from your favorite African American author. Find out how you can make a book donation: pajamaprogram.org/in-kind

MARCH: Sleep Awareness Month

It’s Sleep Awareness Month and I’m proud to be on the Board of Pajama Program. Pajama Program’s sleep health education programs teach the importance of sleep and how to practice a healthy bedtime routine. Sleep is as important for children’s development as proper nutrition and exercise and Pajama Program provides children with the tools they need to have Good Nights for Good Days. It’s Sleep Awareness Month and I’m proud to be on the Board of Pajama Program. Sleep is as important as nutrition and exercise. Getting a good night’s sleep on a regular basis helps children grow, fight illness, maintain a healthy weight, regulate emotions, and solidify learning. Helping your children get good sleep is one of the best things you can do for their health, well-being, and school performance. Find out more at: pajamaprogram.org

APRIL: Volunteer Appreciation Month

Happy Volunteer Appreciation Month! Salute to all the volunteers out there helping to make the world a better place. As you know, I’m on the Board of Pajama Program where we promote equitable access to healthy sleep so all children can thrive. The work of the organization would not be possible without the generous and dedicated volunteers who give their time and talents to support the children of Pajama Program. If you’re interested in investing in children’s futures, learn more at: pajamaprogram.org/volunteer
