Ashley Dittmar

Chief Advancement Officer

Ashley joined Pajama Program in 2023. She oversees development, marketing, and communications for the organization. Prior to joining Pajama Program, Ashley was the first Director of Development at Crisis Text Line and built their philanthropy program while growing their multi-million philanthropic fundraising efforts. Ashley also has led development at the BlinkNow Foundation and doubled BlinkNow’s revenue and donor retention rates as well as established their first endowment. Ashley began her fundraising career over 10 years ago at UC San Diego working for the Press School and then she launched the first stewardship and donor relations program for The Rady School of Management, most notably collaborating on a gift of $100M. She then spearheaded the annual giving program at Project Concern International, focusing on innovative ways to retain thousands of donors and increase their support each year. 

Ashley has since spoken about her work in donor retention at various conferences and events. She has an MPA for Nonprofit Management and Leadership from University of Southern California and BA for International Business and Social Work from San Diego State University. Ashley previously was on the Board of the Association for Fundraising Professionals, San Diego, a Co-Founder of Classy Connect, and Mentor at the Preuss School UCSD. You may find her traveling, spending time with her nephews, exploring NYC or inspiring others to be involved in philanthropy.
