David Rush is the President of ENV, one of New York’s most respected firms of architecture and commercial interior design. He has built strong relationships with clients like HarperCollins Publishing, Phillips Van Heusen, The Durst Organization and The Corcoran Group. A longtime supporter of various charities, his favorite, The Pajama Program is special and was actually hosted in ENV’ office when it was started.
Born and raised in Dexter, Michigan by two artist parents, his love of design was nurtured and he went on to acquire his undergraduate degree in Architecture at the University of Michigan, and later his Master of Architecture at Yale University.
He has been a practicing architect for over twenty five years, and he knows that creative inspiration is contagious. He strives to inspire others and prides himself on collaboration in order to bring the best work to his clients.
David is living the dream of design and it is an inclusive dream that depends on everyone’s contribution. He is so grateful to have an immensely talented and dedicated team to share in the success of the firm. More importantly, he has a tremendously supportive wife, Carina and two sons, Jakob and Gabriel that keep him busy on weekends in Brewster, New York with all of their adopted animals.
