Melissa Bartell

Director of Operations

Melissa joined Pajama Program in 2024 as Director of Operations. In this role, she spearheads the logistics & distribution strategy and is responsible for people management. Melissa also oversees technology and facilities at Pajama Program locations in New York City, Atlanta, and metro-Detroit. 

Throughout her career, Melissa has been dedicated to the nonprofit sector. She began in program management at The National Ramah Commission and later spent six years at UJA-Federation of New York, where she was involved in operational grant allocations and fundraising operations. Melissa holds an MBA from Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College and two bachelor’s degrees – one in Mathematical Sciences and the other in Business Management – from Binghamton University. As a lifelong learner, Melissa is currently completing a certificate from Cornell in SQL and Tableau.  

In her free time, Melissa enjoys spending quality moments with her family, cooking and baking, or indulging in a good book!
