Randy Weis is a successful entrepreneur having founded RD Weis Companies in 1990 as a commercial flooring company serving commercial clients throughout North America. Randy has been active in the flooring industry for 29 years, is widely published and recognized as a pioneer and innovator in his industry, and has served on a variety of industry boards. From 2008 to 2013 Randy was the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Starnet, the industry’s largest flooring cooperative. In addition, Randy was the Chairman of the Board of the Fairfield Arts Council of Fairfield, Connecticut, a community arts and culture institution that served the region in promoting arts in the community.
Prior to Randy’s career with RD Weis Companies, he worked for Bristol Myers Squibb in a variety of senior management positions ending his career as Corporate Director of Human Resources and Administration.
Randy has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Cincinnati in business logistics where he also served as adjunct professor.
Randy and his wife Peggy are patrons of the arts, and decade long supporters of the Pajama Program.
