Puerto Rico Chapter
Chapter President, Carmen Suarez
My name is Carmen Maria Suarez and I am the Chapter President for Puerto Rico. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico and moved to Florida to complete my Bachelor’s degree in Studio Art and a Master’s degree in Education. I am currently finishing my PhD in Industrial Organizational Psychology. While working as a Case Worker and Child Resiliency Specialist for the Center for Family Services, I met Bobbi Rini, the Palm Beach County, FL Chapter President. This is when I learned about Pajama Program and its wonderful mission of ensuring children are comfortable and able to have sweet dreams at night time. In 2010, I decided it was time to move back home and with her help I was able to start the Puerto Rico chapter. It has been an exciting journey and a heartwarming experience. Being able to make the children smile and feel taken care for is a wonderful experience.
