Our Mission

Pajama Program promotes equitable access to healthy sleep so all children can thrive.
One in three children do not get the recommended amount of quality sleep they need, putting them at risk for underperforming in school and experiencing physical and mental health challenges. A good night’s sleep gives children the energy, focus and resilience they need to be at their best. In other words, sleep is a superpower.

Our Holistic Approach

Connect

All of our programs aim to support children and the adults in their lives to get the sleep they need. Whether in-person or virtual, children connect with our caring volunteers and receive the resources for a comforting bedtime routine.

Educate

Our programs teach children, caregivers, and teachers about sleep health and how to maintain a bedtime routine. This holistic approach helps children get the sleep they need, improving health and well-being, relationships, and school performance.

Partner

Our national network of volunteers, local chapter presidents, and community partners provides tens of thousands of pajamas and books for children across the United States and Puerto Rico each year.

Good Night Bill of Rights

These five principles guide our work to promote and support comforting, restful nights, healthy sleep and fulfilling days for children everywhere.
