Andrea Guerra is the Community Engagement Associate for Pajama Program and joined the team in November 2022. She supports Pajama Program’s mission by fostering positive relationships with the community. Andrea was drawn to the mission of Pajama Program because of her lived experience and personal relationship with sleep. In the aftermath of the pandemic, she began evaluating her relationship with sleep and how the lack of access to sleep impacted her overall well-being. She loves being part of an organization that is tackling the social issue of equitable access to sleep to help all children thrive.
Previously, Andrea worked in different legal non-profits in areas of the law that range from housing to environmental law. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in international studies from California State University, Long Beach. She is passionate about social justice and is an avid advocate for her community. In her personal time, Andrea enjoys watching horror movies, exploring NYC’s food scene, and being in nature.
