Sarah is the Senior Director of Professional Development and Leadership in the Special Education Office of the NYC Department of Education. Previously, she engaged her passion for student literacy through her roles as high school special education teacher and administrator. She now shapes the professional learning of special educators throughout the five boroughs, with an emphasis toward building the capacity of schools to equalize educational access for all students and improve learning opportunities and outcomes for students with disabilities.
