Great Bedtime Story Pajama Drive 2022
Thank you to all who participated in the 2022 Great Bedtime Story Pajama Drive! Together, we collected 58,000 pairs of pajamas, surpassing last year’s total! Our friends at Scholastic Book Clubs have generously donated a brand new book to match every single pair of pjs. That means that 58,000 children across the nation will have access to pajamas and a bedtime story, the tools for a good night.
Thank you for making this possible.

ABOUT THE DRIVE
We are excited to partner with Scholastic Book Clubs for the 13th annual Great Bedtime Story Pajama Drive! Every year, hundreds of classrooms around the nation collect brand new pajamas to support the children of Pajama Program. As is tradition, Scholastic Book Clubs has pledged to match every pair of donated pajamas with a brand new storybook!
HOW IT WORKS
All educators must register their classes/schools to participate in the Drive. After registration, teachers may begin collecting pajamas with their students. Classroom drives usually last a few months, though teachers can choose to run their drives for any length of time during the period of September to December. We ask that teachers end their drives by December 2nd and report details of their pajama collection by December 15.
After Pajama Program shares the final total of pajamas collected, Scholastic will donate a brand new book for every pair of pajamas collected, up to 100,000 books. Pajama Program will distribute the donated brand new books to Community Partners in the months after December.
At the conclusion of the drive, thousands more children across the nation will have access to essential tools needed to have Good Nights for Good Days, all thanks to the hard work of caring students and educators and the generosity of Scholastic Book Clubs.

WHAT’S NEW THIS YEAR?
Last year, many educators experienced delays in receiving information on where to send their pajama collections after their drives concluded. We are happy to share that this year, educators will receive contact information of the five Pajama Program Community Partners that are located closest to their school in their registration confirmation email. As soon as educators register for the Drive, they will have access to the information needed to coordinate the drop off/pick up of their pajama collections with a Community Partner.
