How to Conduct an In-Kind Drive

1. Collect

Collect new, unused pajamas and/or new, unused books from your community.

2. Choose

Fill out the form at the bottom of this page. Upon submission, you will receive an email containing key information, including a list of the five Community Partners located closest to you. (Be sure to save this email, as it contains links and information you will need later.) Choose a Community Partner to potentially receive your donation. 

3. Coordinate

Reach out to the Community Partner. If the Community Partner confirms that they want to receive your donation, then coordinate a date and time to drop off your in-kind donation of pajama and books. Take note of the final pajama and book counts as well as the general size range of your pajamas. 

4. Report

After dropping off your in-kind donation, report the details to us by returning to your saved email, and clicking the link next to the Community Partner that received your in-kind donation to access the form where you can record final numbers.  

Top FAQs

What kind of pajamas should I collect?

We only accept brand new, unused and complete pajama sets (tops and bottoms). Sizes for children ages 0-12 are welcome. See Pajama and Book Policy and Pajama and Book Drive FAQs for more details.

Please note: Pajama Program cannot provide pickup service for donations. All organizers of pajama and book drives are responsible for transporting their pajama and/or book collections to a Pajama Program Community Partner. See more details on our full Pajama and Book Drive FAQs page.
